The Beni Snassen Massif
It’s time for adventure.
Enjoying a wide variety of fauna and flora, the Beni Snassen massif is the perfect place for all kinds of excursions. From hiking to climbing, as well as some hunting, there is no shortage of activities. The whole, surrounded by a heavenly setting with a mild climate, between forests, stream and the famous gorges of Zegzel.
Aïn Almou
An excursion to Ain Almou is a great breath of fresh air in the mountains on the Mediterranean coast.
At an altitude of 1000 metres, the Beni Snassen resort offers a magnificent panorama of the sky and the earth. About 40 kilometres from the city of Berkane, Ain Almou is a perfect spot to admire the Triffa plain and a sky lit with stars. To avoid spoiling anything, visitors can enjoy the warm welcome of the local inhabitants.
The Zegzel Gorge and Valley
Unforgettable walks in a unique natural setting.
9 km from the village of Tafoughalt, there, in the mountains of Beni Snassen, is the Zegzel valley. This valley with picturesque landscapes adorned with orchards of néfliers, grenadiers, lemon and orange trees is worth more than a detour. Hiking enthusiasts will find it there.
